As some of you may have noticed, we have updated our logo at the begining of 2016.
The decision was taken at the end of 2015, and implemented this year.
We wanted to use a logo that was simple, and easily identifiable at any size (very important for social media).
The final result is this:
The logo that has been used in the recent years to represent our organization is this one:
With social media and online image being more important each year, we found out that our logo had some problems.
One of them is that it uses a lot of text and undermines the wings, being less identifiable in general and online.
And the main problem is that on a small size (very important for social media) it is barely identifiably:
That’s why we decided to change it for a simpler and more easily recognizable one, without losing the original symbology.
Our new logo has the wings and the holo of those angels that volunteer in our organization to help those in need, and it is identifiable at small sizes:
We have already started using our new logo in social media and our web page, but it will take longer to see it in the real world.
We are going to keep all the stuff we have with the old logo (like clothes for our volunteers or big posters for the Christmas campaign and our meal center), so you are going to see both logos (the new and the old one) representing our organization.
Finally, we would like to remind you that a logo is just a representation. The important thing is the work our volunteers do, and the help we get from a lot of people.
That’s what really matters.
